Fall into Singing Workshop
September 16, 2017, 10am-5pm.
Street parking is limited and strictly patrolled; studio is easily accessed via transit.
In this one-day exploration, you’ll release old tensions and discover the power of your authentic voice.
Using both Fitzmaurice Voicework and Somatic Experiencing techniques, we will explore physical release of body and breath, vibration and resonance, the energy of connection, empathy and vulnerability, and the power of truth in the moment.
Wear soft, comfy clothes (no belts, buckles, straps etc – yoga clothes work well) and layers including warm socks. There are restaurants nearby, or you can bring a bag lunch. You will also need a yoga mat, a zafu (dense pillow for raising the pelvis 4-6 inches during floorwork, like this: http://binged.it/1ajp5g8) and a song or two to play with during exercises. You are welcome to bring a notebook and make notes.
Space is limited to just 4 participants, so there will be a lot of individual attention.
